Branding designed by people, not prompts.

Logos, identities and brand systems made by professional brand designers. We ask first, draw second, and refine until it is yours.

Our approach

Anyone can generate a logo. Not everyone can design a brand.

AI tools can make a logo in a minute, and so can everyone else using them: the same colours, the same fonts, the same elements, all playing prompt, prompt, prompt with minor differences. A brand designer starts somewhere else, with questions about you, your buyers and what you want to be known for. Below is how that actually works, step by step, drawn the way we sketch it.

A note on client work

You will not see client logos, mood boards or brand strategies on this page. They belong to our clients, and the thinking behind a brand is private. So instead of showing you their work, we show you ours: the process every project goes through.

01

Logo Design

A logo is the smallest part of a brand and the hardest to get right. This is the order a professional logo designer works in.

  1. ? Step 1

    Ask

We start with questions, not software. What do you do, who is it for, what are you like, and what are you not? A founder conversation and a short questionnaire give us the brand before we draw a single line.

  2. Step 2

    Research

Your market, your competitors, your buyers. We look at what everyone around you already looks like, so yours does not look like theirs.

  3. Step 3

    References

We collect references and build a mood board for direction: type, colour, shape, feeling. You react to it before any logo exists, so we agree the territory first.

  4. ideas Step 4

    Brainstorm

Words first. Meanings, metaphors and ideas on paper. Quantity before quality, because the best idea is rarely the first one.

  5. B Step 5

    Sketch

Pencil on paper. Dozens of rough thumbnails, most of them bad, a few of them good. This is where the logo is actually found.

  6. Step 6

    Refine

The strongest sketches are drawn properly on screen: curves, spacing, proportions and letterforms, until every point is placed on purpose.

  7. Step 7

    Test

We try it on a phone, a card, a sign and a tiny favicon, in colour and in black. A logo that only works big is not finished.

  8. Step 8

    Deliver

Final files for print and screen in every format you will need, plus a simple guide to using it properly.

revise

You are part of it. Feedback rounds happen after the references, the sketches and the refinement, so you shape the logo as it grows instead of just receiving it at the end.

02

Brand Identity from Scratch

From a blank page to a full visual identity: logo, colour, type and everything that has to work together.

  1. ? Step 1

    Discover

A proper conversation about your story, goals, audience and what makes you different. We leave with a brief both sides agree on.

  2. N Step 2

    Position

Where you sit in the market and why someone should choose you, written as one clear idea everything else is built on.

  3. Step 3

    Direction

Two or three visual directions explored through mood and meaning. You choose one, and we commit to it.

  4. B Step 4

    Design

Logo, colour, typography, imagery and graphic elements designed together, so they feel like one brand and not five separate parts.

  5. Step 5

    Apply

The identity tried in real situations: social, presentations, stationery, signage. We find the gaps before you do.

  6. Aa Step 6

    Hand over

A brand guidelines book so you, and anyone you hire later, can use it without guessing.

03

Brand Strategy & Positioning

Before anything is designed, we work out what the brand is for. Strategy is the part nobody sees and everything depends on.

  1. ? Step 1

    Listen

Conversations with you, your team and, where we can, your customers. What do they say, and what do they really mean?

  2. Step 2

    Research

Your market, your competitors and your audience. Where is the gap that only you can fill?

  3. N Step 3

    Position

Your difference, your promise and your proof, chosen carefully and said plainly.

  4. Step 4

    Write it down

The strategy on a few clear pages you can actually use, not a long document that sits in a folder.

04

Brand Voice & Messaging

How the brand sounds matters as much as how it looks. We find your voice, then write it down so it stays yours.

  1. ? Step 1

    Listen

We read what you have written and listen to how you actually talk. The voice is already in there somewhere.

  2. ideas Step 2

    Find the voice

Personality, tone, the words you use and the words you would never use.

  3. Step 3

    Write the messages

Taglines, key messages, short bios and homepage lines. Drafted, then rewritten until they sound like you.

  4. AB Step 4

    Try it out

We read it aloud and put it on real pages and posts, then fix whatever does not sound right.

05

Brand Guidelines

The rulebook that keeps the brand consistent when more people start using it.

  1. Step 1

    Gather

We collect everything that already exists and note what is consistent and what is not.

  2. Aa Step 2

    Set the rules

Logo spacing, colour, type, imagery and tone, explained clearly with the reasons behind each rule.

  3. Step 3

    Show examples

Real examples of what to do and what to avoid, so nobody has to guess.

  4. Step 4

    Package

A guidelines document, an organised asset library and templates your team can pick up and use.

06

Rebrand & Refresh

Sometimes a brand needs a fresh start. Sometimes it only needs tightening. We help you tell the difference.

  1. Step 1

    Audit

What is working, what is not, and what people already remember about you.

  2. N Step 2

    Decide

Evolve what you have, or start over. We recommend one, and explain why.

  3. Step 3

    Redesign

The same process as a new brand: questions, references, ideas, sketches, refinement.

  4. Step 4

    Roll out

A plan for switching the website, social and print over without confusing the customers you already have.
